Design
Under
the direction of Stephen Fuller's vision and talent, Stephen Fuller, Inc.
has become the most sought after residential design firm in the U.S.,
specializing in land planning and community design. In 1984 after receiving
his BS in Architecture from Georgia Tech University, he founded Stephen
Fuller, Inc. with a desire to create modern homes that meet the needs
of today’s high-tech consumers while preserving the integrity of
traditional architecture.
Twenty years ago, Fuller introduced his hallmark of combining traditional
classic facades with open contemporary floor plans. Since then, Fuller
has cultivated a unique process of land planning, and is now responsible
for the creation of 20 master planned communities in the United States
and beyond.
Fuller’s vision motivates him to create land plans that are as
thoughtfully designed as the individual homes that will one day enhance
each lot. The architectural theme in each community is varied.
The intent of Fuller and his team to preserve what is best about the
classic American neighborhoods of the past, and incorporate these features
into the community land plan is evident and appreciated by developers
and homeowners.
This appreciation is shared by colleagues and industry professionals
as well. The very first of Fuller’s endeavors in Land planning
and community design earned him a Best in American Living Award.
Attention to detail is a trademark of Stephen Fuller and his team. Over
nearly two decades his designs continue to appeal to those who value
sound design and custom touches that make a home both comfortable and
memorable.
As a result of the popularity and demand for Stephen Fuller's designs,
the firm has published thirteen collections of pre-designed homes, providing
builders and consumers access to a variety of Fuller's award-winning
designs. The most recent portfolio, American Neighborhood Collection,
was published in February 2001. In this collection Fuller pioneers new
design trends that address the needs of today’s active lifestyles
and the increased technology within today’s homes.
Stephen Fuller has received over 90 awards of excellence for superior
design including "Best in American Living" at the past NAHB
Conventions. In addition, his designs have been featured in a variety
of consumer and trade publications including Atlanta Homes and Lifestyles,
Better Homes & Garden®, Builder, House Beautiful Houses &
Plans, Professional Builder, Southern Living®, Good Housekeeping
Home Plans, Colonial Homes, Country Home® and Home Planners.
Well-respected in his field, Fuller has been a featured speaker at
the International Home Builders Show which has over 50,000 attendees
each year as well guess appearances on HGTV’s “Lynette Jennings
Show” and other local and regional television news interested
programs. Fuller has done extensive design work creating the Arvida
Cancer Homes for the National Cancer Society, and The American Wood
Council homes. He is the designer of seven Southern Living Idea Houses,
